Looks like 'Arry's got loads of trouble actually
And this is yet another under appreciated offering from the proclaimed Master of the macabre. Unbelievably this gets very little recognition, and it truly should have. Not many could consult a novel and adroitly adapt as Alfred Hitchcock could, in the otherworldly fashion in which he conveyed narrative.
And there would be no exception here as he presciently selected Jack Trevor's lugubrious masterpiece to expound upon. A photoplay of perfection materialized and this would be every stitch important as his other works and begs the question, why isn't anybody talking about it?
